Here's how it works
Step 1
Patient comes in for service and has a need for preventative and comprehensive services that he/she expects their insurance to cover. After reviewing insurance, its discovered that this patient lacks enough coverage to complete their dental procedures
Step 2
The patient is presented with the option to pay out of pocket or explore eligibility for various assistance programs. If all other options are exhausted, the provider instructs the patient to scan a QR code—available on the tabletop canopy or the SmileAlly-provided scan sheet—and complete a custom form that submits directly to Real Life Solutions.
Step 3
When patient completes form, facility receives an email with a secure password protected link that can be used to track the status of the referral. A licensed and certified RLS rep is assigned to that patient. The RLS rep updates the status of the patient daily.
Step 4
Once patient has made changes to his/her plan, added coverages , or opted not to move forward with getting help, the referring provider is updated using the status link credentials and can then reach back out to the patient for a follow-up.
